Bradford V Morecambe match

Post  Jo on Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:52 pm

On the 5th of April we are having our first lesson at Horseshoe Lake.
There is also a 'grudge' match going on between Bradford City (yeah kwl) & Morecambe (booooooo) hahahaha
Jo is going to the match so will NOT be teaching fishing that day.
Jo is going to the match but she will be at Bradford (kwlest) end and not at the away (mingers) end.

How many members want to go?
Can we car share?
Is anybody taking their parents to the mingers, erm away end?
Can they cope with one or two more kids than usual?

Also, anybody fancy a curry after the match? After Bradford have beaten Morecambe??

Replies please!!!!

Shocked That wont happen!!
Morecambe goalie cant stop the ball from going in the net through his legs.
Its in the bag!!!
Lets face it, Bradford are bantams, Morecambe are shrimps.
the bantams will be eating the shrimps for breakfast and still be looking for more!!!!!
After all, who wants to be known as an undersized PRAWN???
cyclops

I hope bradford win for your sake Jo, but i seem to remember you were saying the same old things when they played each other last time!!
At least with it being at bradford this time your supporters wont have so far to go when they leave well before the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call themselves supporters - proper ones stay till the death!!!!!!!!!!
Well me and sam will be in with the proper fans having a good old laugh at your expense when we win!!!!!!!! lol!

Pooo 2 undersized prawns

Post  Jo on Mon Mar 10, 2008 5:44 pm

Yeah, Right, Whatever!!!
lol!

Coarse Bradford will win, how can we not with that joker of the 'undersized prawns' in goal. Hahahaha, he may as well not be there and leave the goal empty clown

Plus, you have to remember that Bradford have a proper stadium of 25,000 seats! Not a little pathetic little nursery of 5,000.
You undersized prawns lot will be too scared to go in a stadium that big.
You'll be on the other side of the pitch, shaking, going "OOOOH I want my mummy!!" affraid Sad

Anyway it seems like theres only us going.
Matt, Ash, Daz, James and all that lot dont seem to want to go cos they haven't put their names down!

It seems no-ones coming for a curry after either.

Plus its Grand National day - gosh what a busy day I have, Footie & bookies!
Anybody fancy a flutter?? I always do, its a religion!

Just read the match report in The Citizen. That bloke must have been at a different match cos if he was there his report aint up to much. The match I watched saw Morecambe well marshalled by The Bantams in all areas of the pitch. Although, the game was scrappy and poor quality, I think you just have to look at efforts on goal and corners won statistics to see who deserved to win. And, why is everyone crying about Thompsons face injury when the worst tackle of the match by far was a two footed lunge by an angry and frustrated Morecambe player who felled Bradfords Mark Bower. Match reports like the one in The Citizen and comments from Sammy McIlroy show Morecambe football club in a bad light. On the other hand, the Morecambe supporters were great.....singing throughout the game.
